Internet download speed will affect the quality of video playback

Viewers must have a minimum stable download speed of 500 kbps in order to play low-resolution SD 240p video. For a more enjoyable viewing experience and to play high definition video, we recommend accessing PTV using a 5 Mbps or faster internet connection. Hardwired ethernet connections will be more reliable than wireless (Wi-Fi or cellular).

Visit https://www.speedtest.net/ (on mobile or desktop) to test your internet speed. We recommend performing this test a few times since bandwidth can change.

Playback quality and buffering issues

The quality of your playback experience is largely dependent on your ISP (Internet Service Provider) or mobile provider. Keep in mind that your overall Internet speed can vary depending on many factors, including but not limited to: time of day, WiFi performance, other devices/users utilising your connection, and the strength of the signal provided by your ISP.
